Death Valley National Park

Driving through Death Valley was interesting, no necessarily pretty but dramatic. We went from below sea level to 5,000 ft. then back low again and then high and repeated this cycle as we drove our way across the Park towards our destination. Unfortunately this made everyone's head ache and some of us a little "woozy." Joshua Trees

Barren rugged landscape

Nott terribly hot but very very windy as you can tell.

Ever wonder why it's called 20 mule-team Borax? Well it took a team of 20 mules to pull the wagons of borax out of the mines here until this steam engine replaced them in the late 1800s.
